Community Kickoff at Museum
Bounce houses, obstacle courses, music, foam party. Come out and enjoy an afternoon having fun in nature and weather.
Sunday
3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Speaker Series Night 1
Museum open at 4pm with the first speaker starting at 5:30pm. First speaker will be on Aviation & Weather by Kim Elmore. Following the first speaker, the second speaker will begin. David Hogg will give a talk about Sports and Weather.
Monday
5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
Speaker Series Night 2
Museum open at 4pm with the first speaker starting at 5:30pm. First speaker, James Hocker, will be on the Mesonet and Emergency Management. The second speaker, Sean Ernst, will begin following the first and discuss Weather Photography
Tuesday
5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
Speaker Series Night 3
Museum open at 4pm with the first speaker starting at 5:30pm. The first speaker, DaNa Carlis, will be on Severe Weather Modeling. The second speaker will begin following the first. David Holland, discuss Cloud Painting with live demonstration.
Wednesday
5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
Movie Night - Twister
Join us at on the museum lawn to watch Twister, the original. Bring your lawn chairs, snacks and drinks. Movie will start at 7pm.
Thursday
7:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Morning Community Walk
Join us at Ruby Park for a morning community walk. We will meet at Ruby Park for an outdoor walk where we enjoy the weather and visit. Museum open regular hours (10am to 4pm)
Friday
7:30 am to 8:30 am
Weather Festival @ National Weather Center
We will be open at our location normal hours and have a table at the National Weather Center from 10am to 2pm.
Saturday
10:00 am to 2:00 pm
